The 70mm Buttress Adapter (Part Number: 226-222-70mm-B) is designed to facilitate the use of GoatThroat pumps with barrels featuring a 70mm (2.75-inch BPR-E) internal thread. This adapter converts the 70mm buttress thread to a standard 2-inch NPT thread, ensuring a secure and leak-free connection between the pump and the container.

Note: Variations in temperature, concentrations, etc., may affect chemical resistance, and so it is up to the customer to truly decide whether the components will handle what they are passing through the pumps.

Description

This adapter allows the pumps to be used on plastic pails or cans which has a 70mm thread. This eliminates tipping of the container and associated spill hazards. Please specify chemical or GT Pump to get the correct gasket. Made in USA.

The DrumQuik for GoatThroat (DQGT) sealed chemical dispense/pumping system is designed to minimize/eliminate corrosive chemical exposure to technicians, prevent hazardous spills into the environment, minimize inventory loss due to evaporation, and protect the purity of the chemical while dispensing liquids at point of use and when transferring the system from barrel to barrel. With a DrumQuik dip-tube closure installed in the container, only the 2-lb DQGT pump head is moved to the next barrel. Featuring secure, threaded closure options for most common plastic and metals drums, the DQGT installs easily on barrels providing a sealed system that maintains liquid purity and prevents noxious vapors from escaping into the environment.
