Review:	Very disappointed with this expensive device.I am amazed that the tube that connects to the pump and is then inserted into the acid is only held by pressure and not secured by a screw mechanism. As a result, our 3 piece pipe fell off into the acid and could not be recovered. Your agent thankfully supplied us an extra one piece pipe although this too is only secured by being a tight fit. This is a basic design flaw. Also, the pump rolled off the top of the drum and the top of the pump fractured. This we have resecured with a strap. We are again astonished that such an expensive device is made of such a brittle material that it cannot survive a 3' fall. In conclusion, we are extremely unhappy with this device. GOATTHROAT COMMENTS: When properly set up according to page 9 of the instruction manual, the siphon tube is wedged between the pump and the bottom of the barrel and never falls off. We will send you repair parts for the broken main piston.

GOATTHROAT COMMENTS: Properly set up, the provided 43-inch siphon tube will get to the bottom of a 55 gallon drum. The optional remote discharge tap accessory is a great way to dispense liquids at a distance away from the drum.

Review:	I recently purchased a GT300 pump in order to fuel my homebuilt aircraft from a 5 gallon can. The assembly was quick and straight forward with a tight seal achieved. A few quick strokes of the pump and I was in business. This certainly beats trying to pour fuel into my tanks that are at arms length away and straining my lower back. I would gladly recommend this product to anyone who has a similar need.

Review:	I just assembled my Goat Throat pump to handle MEK in my manufacturing process and it handles the material beautifully with precision in dispensing. The only issue I have with the product is the assembly process. I found the suction tube difficult to fit together entirely into the connectors. The only other thing is the fit between the pump head and the riser that connects to the drum opening. I think the threads inside the riser that grip the gasket could be either deeper or sharper to ensure a tighter or more stable fit. But, overall, I love the Goat Throat, and will likely purchase more for the dispensing of other chemicals I work with on a regular basis.

Review:	The GoatThroat Pump has been installed to dispense methanol in our lab. Earlier methods of pumping the methanol were not effective in two ways. The pumps did not seal into the drum and, hence, had to be removed after use. Secondly, the working life of these pumps was shockingly short. The first issue is immediately solved by the GoatThroat pump and the second will be determined over the next couple of months. All of the operators are pleased by the pump. More importantly, I would like to mention the support and rapid responses from GoatThroat Pumps. My demands are high for detailed understanding of the equipment that we purchase. The approach saves money and effort in the long run as we can eliminate inappropriate equipment in the “discovery” phase. In every case of questioning, the people at GoatThroat pumper were quick to respond with exactly the information that I required. In my experience, this is unusual. So, we ended up purchasing the exact pump that we needed. The installation instructions were clear and I had no difficulty in having our technician install the pump quickly and efficiently. All in all a good product and excellent service support, well done.

Review:	Our employees work with nitric acid and worker safety is very important to me. The unit was a perfect solution to a messy hazardous job. I am very happy that we got all the accessories that we did. The remote discharge tap makes filling bottles so easy. The carboys that I pump from does not have a large flat top so the remote allows me to easily fill one bottle after another without stopping to switch out bottles. There wasn't any residual dripping from the tap which made it a clean fill with no spills. I believe that the remote also relieves any lateral stress on the pump head that my occur from holding the tap open. When filling I always hold the bottle with one hand and the tap in the other. Since I don't have a third hand I would have to put everything down to manually pressurize the container which could drip material or spread material onto the pump. The Billygoat adapter eliminates the pumping and all the hand operations where drips and contaminations occur. I've been doing this type of small volume, chemical transfer as a small part of my job for over 38 years, it had always been real pain, but not anymore. It's worth every cent I paid and wish I found you earlier. You've made this world a better place.

Review:	I would strongly recommend GoatThroat Pumps to anyone who is looking for a reliable and easily serviceable hand pump for an array of difficult liquids. Here is why. . I work for North American Weather Consultants. I have been with the company for about 13 years now and currently handle 49 ground based cloud seeding generators here in Central and Southern Utah. My units operate on an acetone based solution and almost all of them require multiple refills with each season. When I first started the program, I was provided inexpensive hand pumps which took much time to completely transfer fluids when either mixing or filling my refill containers. For years, I was unaware of any pump that might be better suited for my job. I periodically checked various stores and made several phone calls trying to find something that worked better. With the volume of material I was processing, my pumps would not even last one season, even though I tried thoroughly rinsing them out after each use. They failed like clockwork. A few years ago, the company provide me with a GoatThroat 200S pump. At first I was a little skeptical until I began looking over the operation manual and compatibility guide.
